Ask AI for a Design and Get 13 Font Sizes: Building a 'Design Harness' with Claude Code and FigmaWe asked the same model to design the same app twice, from the same spec and the same prompt. Once in an empty folder, once inside a working frame of rules and checks (a harness). Font sizes went from 13 to 4, and hard-to-read text went from 24 places to 0. It also took more than five times the time and money, and whether it looked good barely changed.
